The Setup :

Perfect Picnic Blanket

The base of all perfect picnics starts with the blanket. I don’t suggest anything fluffy or with an overwhelming design (i.e. sports team logo, excessive writing or large images) for the sake of cleanliness and design. I suggest going with an extra large towel from sand cloud https://www.sandcloud.com/products/xl-terracotta-baja-towel . Sand Cloud is all about sustainability and even gives a portion of your purchase towards saving marine life. Their towels are also pretty on trend and great for sand or dirt.

If your looking for another option, this is another great one https://www.amazon.com/Outdoor-Water-Resistant-Waterproof-Sandproof-SC-CM-01/dp/B01FI1QXS8/ref=psdc_13789671_t1_B07JKS4L5V

Throw Pillows

Using throw pillows as seat cushions for your picnic is a game changer. Not only is it so much more comfortable but it also looks super cute. Grab some off of your couch or pick some up at your nearest HomeGoods or Target.

Drinks + Snacks:

Ice Bucket

Not only will this keep your drinks cold, but it does so in style. This really elevates the aesthetic and automatically gives your picnic and extra gold star. Here’s one that I like https://www.target.com/p/3-7gal-oval-beverage-tub-gold-finish-project-62-8482/-/A-76167315?ref=tgt_adv_XS000000&AFID=google_pla_df_free_online&CPNG=Dining&adgroup=200-11

Reusable Plastic Wine Glasses

Packing actual glass to a picnic is always a bad idea and a sure way to slowly break all your wine glasses. This reusable plastic option is not only just as stylish but perfect for drinking outside. https://www.potterybarn.com/products/happy-hour-wine-glasses-set-of-4-clear/?catalogId=84&sku=7714199&cm_ven=FreePLA&cm_cat=Google&cm_pla=Kitchen%20%26%20Dining%20%3E%20Wine%20Glasses

Snacks

My favorite lineup of picnic snacks includes: Baguettes, Mini Jam, Fresh Fruit and Assorted Meats + Cheese.

Charcuterie Board

Nothing like a charcuterie board to up the insta worthy level of your picnic. Charcuterie boards have a great variety of flavors in small bites, making it the perfect picnic snack. Pre make one yourself or take all the pain out of the process and order one. https://www.beautyandtheboard.com makes some of the most beautiful and delicious boards in the South Florida and Orlando area.

French Macarons

The perfect bite size sweet for a picnic. No mess and all the satisfaction of any other dessert. I like to grab them from Whole Foods while I’m picking up other picnic items like wine and cheese. You can easily find them in their bakery department or buy them from a local bakery.

Extra Décor: for picnics that are really trying to go the extra mile

Flowers

Flowers add color and vibrancy to every occasion. Scatter them throughout your picnic layout, leave them in a bouquet or make yourself a small arrangement. No matter which way you do it, they’re sure to brighten up your picnic.

Layered Blankets

Add some extra color and dimension to your picnic by layering blankets.

Lanterns with LED candles

This is perfect if your picnic is around sunset, lanterns will give you ambiance and will compliment that golden hour lighting so nicely. LED candles are the way to go in this case so you don’t have to worry about wind or your flowers accidentally catching on fire.
